The Evaporative Cooler ("Swamp Cooler") adds cool, clean, moisture-filled air to your kitchen to replace the grease-filled air that is being expelled out by the functioning kitchen hood and exhaust motor. The concept of "air-balance" is critical to ensuring your exhaust system is working properly, and therefore, the system must be checked every six months. SteamKitchen offers complete Evaporative Cooler solutions at reasonable prices.
The Diverter angles the expelled exhaust from the motor away from the roof and surrounding exhaust components. SteamKitchen provides installation and care services.
The Portable Fire Extinguisher acts as a "secondary backup" to the Automatic Fire System. Extinguishers must be regularly serviced by trained and licensed technicians. SteamKitchen installs and services all types of portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10.
The Automatic Fire System acts as the "primary protection" against kitchen fires. The systems must be installed and serviced every six months by licensed and trained technicians. SteamKitchen installs and services high quality automatic fire systems in compliance with UL300 and other standards at reasonable prices. We also help you as needed at the local level including filing city permits and providing necessary documentation for your local Fire Marshall.
The Drip Cup acts as an overflow collection tray for all grease that seeps from the motor. Not cleaning drip cups leads to excessive grease build-ups on components. Proper drip cup care is a part of SteamKitchen’s 14-Step Cleaning Process.
The Exhaust Motor ("Blower") and Fan is the engine that sucks and expels the grease-filled air out of the kitchen. Attached Fan Blades and surrounding areas must be thoroughly cleaned at regular intervals to ensure the system is working properly and efficiently. SteamKitchen offers complete installation and maintenance services at extremely competitive prices.
The Flue Duct acts as the path that grease-filled air follows between the kitchen hood and the exhaust motor. Simply cleaning the hood and the exhaust motor is not enough to prevent fires. Per NFPA-96, all ducts must be accessible and cleaned regularly. By using a myriad of methods including long-pole duct scrapers, "duct-spinners" and technicians repelling down individual ducts to clean them with scratch pads and scrapers, SteamKitchen ensures you are covered.
The Grease Filter collect the majority of grease-filled air before it even travels through the duct and out of your kitchen. Filters must be cleaned regularly yet can not be cleaned on the street or in your dishwasher, for example. To ensure our customers always have fresh filters, SteamKitchen offers a reasonably-priced exchange program. Prices are determined by the number of filters you have and the frequency of exchange that you desire.
The Kitchen Hood is the most prominent and viewed component of your exhaust system. It captures grease-filled air, and with the help of the other exhaust components, expels it from your kitchen. SteamKitchen proudly installs and services all sizes and types of hoods. As part of our "14-Step Cleaning Process", we clean both the inside and outside of your hoods, as well as the stainless backsplash. Despite the current mess your hoods may be in, we make them shine and look brand new.
